Our Firm is a Partnership firm & was established in 1930 with the name of M/S.Thakkar Gangaram Pragji & Co & re-constituted in the Year 2000 with the New name M/S.Kaizen India and is co-owned & co-managed by Shri Pratap Pragji Thakkar & Shri Kaushik Pratap Thakkar.
We have dedicated & competent staff strength of 30 personnel & we handle only import clearance. We both partners are engaged in day-to-day business & personally supervise/direct our staff. We are well versed with procedures of Custom Clearance. We also keep ourselves abreast with day-to-day policy as well as procedural changes announced by all connected authorities & it has been our endeavor to provide useful tips & information to all our clients in this regard to avail maximum benefits available within the frame of law.
Our Clients are based on Mumbai as well as outside Mumbai, But we are we are not able to open our own branch offices everywhere & therefore we have our associates, who when required, can get our clearances done thru most of the other Ports/ICD’s of India such as Baroda, Ankleshwar, Ahmedabad, Hazira, Pipavav, Kandla, Mundra, Chennai, Kolkata, Goa, Hyderabad etc. All these Associates are Registered CHA’s with own Licences.
Our main field of expertise is clearance of import cargo, especially Plant and Machinery & goods related to the Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Industry & Pharma/Chemical Industry. We have handled goods worth over 1600 Crores in the last Financial Year. We have the experience of handling all types of Import clearances i.e. under EPCG, STPI/EOU, SEZ, Bond/Ex-Bond, DEEC / DEPB / DFRC / DFIA / T+ / FMC / FPS / SHIS / MEIS/SFIS, Re-imports, Projects, etc.
Our offices are generally open atleast till 7.30 p.m. but then we are always available 24/7 on our mobiles.
